Principal’s Message

Good evening Twain families,

Happy Halloween!  For those that participated, we hope you had a fun and safe weekend celebrating!

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is already the start of November!  We are quickly approaching the end of the first trimester at school and have accomplished so much.  We look forward to having all of our Twain families join the staff for conferences on November 22 and 23rd.  Families will have the option to attend virtually or in-person.  If you have not received a sign up link from your student’s teacher, please reach out!

Although the weather was a bit wet last week, we didn’t let that rain on our parade!  We had a blast with our Live Streamed Parade– if you missed it, you can check it out here!  Student’s had a great time seeing each other live and then continuing the celebration in their classrooms.

We are so excited that tomorrow starts the Twain Scholastic Book Fair!  Please see below or attached for more information.  We hope you can join us on Wednesday evening for the bookfair, as well as our postponed Fall Celebration!

Have a great week!

Best,

Alyssa and Mónica

Throughout the district, we are collecting Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House.  Please help Twain and CCSD21 students collect as many pop tabs as possible.  You can send the tabs with your student and they can put them in the designated box in the office!

Attendance

As the weather starts to change, it is important that we are dressing appropriately for the temperature, as well as attending school every day.  Each day matters and makes a significant impact in a child’s learning.  Please help us in making sure our children are at school daily.

Car Line
When dropping off or picking up your students from school, please make sure to REMAIN in your car.  For everyone’s safety, it is important to “Kiss and Go.”  We want to ensure that traffic is moving smoothly and our students are safe.  Thank you for your cooperation.
