Principal's Message 8/29/21

Dear Twain Families,

Thank you for another wonderful week back at Twain!  It was great to see so many families on Thursday, both virtually and in person.  If you were not able to make our live introduction, please take a look here!  If you were unable to attend, please also reach out to your child’s classroom teacher to ensure that you get all of the important information that was shared!  We thank you for sharing your children with us each and everyday and look forward to an amazing year ahead.

We have a lot of things happening this week!  On Thursday, we will have picture day, as well as SHIELD testing.  As you read in the District family message on Friday, Twain will now have weekly testing on THURSDAY.  If you have not signed a consent form, your child should have received a paper copy last week.  Please return the form right away, as SHIELD testing is required.

As a reminder, we have a full week of school this week, but all students and staff are off next week in honor of Labor Day and Rosh Hashana. To those who celebrate, L’Shana Tova.  We wish everyone a wonderful, extended weekend!

Due to the holiday, there will be no family update next week!  Please reach out for anything!

Your child’s attendance is critical to success.  It is important that all students arrive at school on time and are in their classrooms ready to learn at 9:00 AM.  If a student arrives after 9 AM, the parent will need to sign the child into school in the office each day.  Thank you for helping your child learn routines.  We will be providing more information about attendance at curriculum night.
